As I recall, there is a fly-by above Ouray each 4th of July.

A few years ago, friends and I were at the top of Black Bear Pass, right at noon on the 4th. We had a good view of Telluride. We spotted some fast moving dots ascending up the valley. Four F-16's crested right over us, about 50 feet above the deck, then peeled left heading for Ouray. Worth the trip!
