later members of class 35 had a longer wheelbase & firebox and a larger tender, riding on a single axle-2 axle truck arrangement instead of 2 single axles. In RGttP La Massena pegs these changes as starting with #8. #'s 11 & 12 are also noted as having the throttle in a 2nd steam dome located just behind the stack (ibid.)
