I've ridden behind 487 with seven coaches, the concession boxcar, open gondola and a caboose, so it's hard to fathom a K-36 not being able to handle 6 coaches up the 4 percent with rain and rusty rail. But, it makes for a cool video!

Though, I wonder why they didn't take an additional coach off, since it's apparent they didn't need it.

(Just observations, not judgements)
