Right. The only survivors I'm aware of from 8-18-C drawing 4 or its close relatives are the three here in the United States (Eureka, the Sonoma, and the Jupiter) plus a fourth in Brazil (named Col. Church). Yours is the oldest, the most original, and the only operational survivor.

It's better that Eureka survives instead of a D&RG machine. Your engine was the standard model--the D&RG engines being somewhat custom to that railroad--and locomotives like Eureka ran on railroads all across the united States, from New York to California, as well as in other nations. It's representative not just of a specific railroad, but rather it's a time capsule from the 1870's more generally. Anyone who appreciates 19th century heritage is glad for your efforts.
