EDIT: It has come to my attention since I wrote this last night that the historical WW&F did indeed have a derrick car, No. 10, built on an existing 28' flat and similar in overall design to D&RGW Derrick OP.
ORIGINAL POST: To my knowledge, none of the historical Maine Two-Footers had derricks on their rosters (what lifting there was to be done appears to have been accomplished with just block and tackle and/or cribbing).
However, that doesn't mean it isn't useful to have a "big hook" available when the need arises, and to that end the modern WW&F has
