Do you remember two goofy-looking Wild Eyed Foamers* from California
in a green Triumph TR-4 who were wearing Hoot Gibson ten-gallon hats?

p.s. As noted elsewhere, we really did almost run into John Gruber the day before - literally - when his driver stopped suddenly right in front of us while we were foaming through The Narrows ...
* Actually, there was only one foamer. One of my college roommates came along on a camping trip, and he barely tolerated my two days of chasing choo-choos.
