Re: K-36 485 turntable accident. How?

As far as I have heard is that the brake wasn't set completely and it crept into the pit so to speak. I believe there was either frame damage or damage to the cylinders which would have been impossible to repair--unfortunate as it had recently been overhauled and from what I have heard it was a good steamer. I believe the 489 got a lot of parts from the 485 after the accident.
