Sorry for the late reply, my wife and I just got back into Houston yesterday. We were told about Treasure Falls, near Pagosa Springs while we were in Chama and on the drive from Chama to Durango we tried to stop there but were forced to turn back on the hike due to rain. While in Durango, my wife made the call to go via Wolf Creek Pass to Denver instead of Red Mountain and Monarch (both ways were in good condition according to CoDOT's website) as Treasure Falls looked better than Box Canyon Falls. I was a bit heart broke over missing missing the narrow gauge aspect of the Red Mountain / Monarch route but the falls were nice and I got to see parts of the valley line on the drive. Besides, it will be better to devote the proper time needed to that route at a later date.
I saw a DRGW water tank in good condition and some rolling stock in South Fork and was impressed at the condition of the Tennessee Pass line north of Poncha Springs. I enjoyed following the South Park road bed and grabbed a few pictures of the Como roundhouse and stopped at the wye on top of Kenosha Pass.
I have over 1100 pictures from the trip, I will get some up on here once I start going through them (though I still need to finish the Texas State Railroad excursion from the first part of May as well).
Thanks again for all of the help!
