That photo was taken nearly three years ago, R.C. -
And there was still a trace of Moffat Green boiler jacket urethane under the soot.
Jeff's modern urethane is tougher and shinier than the old enamel - it holds up
better and also sloughs off the cinders better than the original D&RGW paint.
Sadly, I believe #473 has since reverted to her depression-era dull black ...
