Wow, No. 3 is looking ex-works as our UK friends would say. On May 17, 2009 No. 3 looked a bit more workaday for a Historic Transport Preservation photo charter. No. 3 is a really neat little mill. Well worth a visit to see it run. Some of the track along the Greenbrier River looks like a typical logging or mining line with some previously washed out sections not restored to the more mainline-looking former C&O alignment.
Moore-Keppel No. 3 runs beside the Greenbrier River.
Running over some previously washed out track, Moore-Keppel No. 3 negotiates it in true geared locomotive fashion.
With John Smith at the throttle, No. 3 cruises along the Greenbrier.
