In regular service, maybe. #'s 168 & 172 were used in the Gunnison area on the Lake City branch until May 1933 and on the Pitken branch which was scrapped in the Spring/Summer of 1934. Not sure when the lst use of T-12 on the Pitken branch was, as C-16's were also used there...

First used, I'm not sure, probably not later than 1890. I'm sure the more important, and more steeply graded lines than Chama-Durango did have a priotity on the Class 47 engines but I wouldn't be surprised if they were occasionally used there as early as 1884-85. Last use was probably in the early 1920's sometime. Other than the Snowplow train service to Cumbres in the early 1930's...

Of course they were, probably from 1883 on. Sometime in the early 1900's K-27's started hauling the passenger trains from Salida-Sargent most days (often #459 for some reason) but the Class 47 engines held the Sargent-Gunnison segment until the early 1920's(1924?) and the Gunnison West lines until the early 1930's (1931?)

NOTE: #172 was hauled dead from Gunnison in January 1936, may have been last T-12 over Marshall Pass?

Last passenger train was in 1927, regular use until then(#167 was in service here in 1926-27). No idea when last run under steam was. #169 was in use West of Gunnison in 1930, later in Santa Fe branch service so might have made a run or might have been hauled DIT sometime in 1931 or '32.
