If No. 73 is still using the ex USA 2-8-2 tender, then the coal capacity was 9 tons, per WP&Y folio sheet. However, WP&Y folio sheet for Nos. 70 - 73 gives tender capacity as 4,000 gallons water / 8 tons coal.
