Looking at those photos raises a question.
The guard rails on the Cascade Trestle are on the outside of the main rails, but on the inside on the Lobato Trestle.

Does any one know the reason for this? I know the Lobato trestle was rebuild a few years ago. Were the guard rails on the inside on the Lobato trestle before it was rebuilt?
