We've had a lot of fun with Canada (Gray Jays). Camping up in the Oregon Cascades on old McKenzie Pass, one came on the picnic table where I was adding things to one side of a hamburger bun, when one came over and tried to take off with the other half, next to my hand with the knife!
Later, I had some dog food out that they were eyeing. I put some in each hand and on each shoulder and stood there for a bit. Soon I had 5 of them perched, 4 on my arms and one on top of my head. I'm not too sure our dog approved of the waste though!
Here, we have a lot of the corvids (jays, magpies, crows and ravens). Most are pretty wary of people, although the jays are the least so. I've photographed many of them and do like seeing Roger's photos.
