the plans that MR printed had a small error in the drawing for the cab front, this is for part 2 showing the k-27 in the circa 30's,40's era. all photos show the cab front doors as a rectangle. the drawings show the cab front doors as five sided. this five sided door business may have come from a set of d&rgw drawings for the k-27 that show each piece of the engine and tender . 463's present cab front was rebuilt with five sided doors can't speak for 464 at huckleberry. maybe john bush can explain why 463 was rebuilt with this strange door configuration. also note the riveted sheet metal attached to the cab front. the sheet metal is just below the cab front windows and extends down to the cab floor. i've obtained several 11x14 prints from perry's collection and also don roger's prints in rebuilding specific o scale k-27 models and discovered these minor details. one other minor detail missing is the turret shutoff valve on the roof and if your into the late 20's and 30's the small pipes on the side of the smokebox on the engineers side. one final note for the tender the larger rear endbeam . hope this helps
