At this point, any sort of attention the EBT can get, the better. It is nice to hear some new developments.
The only fault I could find was Salone's comment towards what can be assumed is the EBT 15. Her Form 4, as I understand, was completed in 2004(?) and with that particular specimen racking up years, rather than service days, she's legal for another 4 years. Not sure if he was confused or directing our attention elsewhere? Not trying to speculate too much here.
From my brief research on here, elsewhere on the net and the input of a few colleagues more privy to the status of the 15 than me, I was led to believe that the running gear/equalization needed particular attention? I'm not going to assume that this is where the six figure repair sum came from, however any one of those engines could easily rack up the dollars in that area if you went over them meticulously.
Again, glad to see there is still interest and those in charge haven't totally abandoned ship.
