The F&CC boxcars seem to have ventured further off line that most of their narrow gauge counterparts. The Switzerland Trail book has photos of them on the Colorado & Northwestern at Sunset ( page 191) and Orodel (page 199).

Distance wise, Animas Forks is further away from Florence than any point on the C&N-W, but the cars would have had to travel on three foreign railroads to get to the Switzerland Trail (D&RG, C&S and C&N-W) vs. two (D&RG and SN) to get to Animas Forks.

That said, either way you look at it the winner is a F&CC boxcar.
