CDA, you are referring to the 50' turntable mentioned by JP.

According to the DL&G Bridge and Building Book (annotated by the owner) that I have a copy of, this 50' turntable came from the turntable at Alpine Tunnel and was moved to Georgetown for use as a bridge.

Maybe someday the folks at the NPS will make a deal with Hysteric Colorado and return that particular turntable to its original location instead of letting it rust in the weeds at the Loop.
