Locomotive was Fisher Lumber Co #5 at the time of the photo. Fisher Lumber operated Northwest of Colorado Springs. Photo is in "Colorado's Mountain Railroads" as well as "Little Book Cliff Railway".

According to said books, the locomotive was built as Denver & Rio Grande #5 the "Ouray" in 1871 and ended its life as Little Book Cliff #1, scrapped in 1898 or 1899.
