Is that a remnant of the 2-foot gauge Kilauea Sugar Plantation Railway on the north shore of Kaua'i? It was abandoned in 1942.

Or, it could be a remnant of the 30" gauge Kekaha Sugar Co. Railway (abandoned 1946), or the Waimea Sugar Mill Co Railway (abandoned 1940). Both these were on the southwest shore of Kaua'i and connected with other 30" lines including the Grove Farm operation. There are some other possibilities as well, also on Kaua'i.
