Dad based his Steam Dummy model on this illustration in the 8th edition of Light Locomotives, the 1897 H.K. Porter catalog. this was an 0-4-0 class B-S-M, 7" x 12" cylinders with 24" drivers. Plus some dimensions taken from the Plan you sent me in your private message.
The 7th ediion (1892) of Light Locomotives gives the following Working report for one of 42 inch gauge on the Wichita Rapid Transit.
"120 miles , burning 1/2 ton coal or coke and using 7 to 9 tanks of water per day of 15 hours. On Sundays hauls 2 cars per trip, and once caried 400
people on 2 cars. usual speed 12 and fastest 15 miles per hour. Have made 144 miles in 8 hours."
