The 4800 survived until at least 1970 when I photographed it in Durango. It stood out as being much taller than the other cars. At the time, I was aware it was one of the Western Union cars which is why I took several photos. It was not saved, as best I know, and was scrapped at Durango in either 1970 or 71.
