Its a nice idea, but....

I can think of a dozen organizations who could use the money just as badly, if not worse.
East Broad Top has one hell of a lot more LEFT to offer the rail historians and industrial archeologists.
Any one of the mainline steam locomotive support groups to which the money for insurance and ferry moves is the only real thing standing between them and going to the Fair of the Iron Horse, or even perhaps running at all.
Any one of the dozens of museums and tourist roads who desperately need "just a little more" to keep their operation from folding or their engines rolling, or the increased insurance costs frome shutting them down.
Should we mention steamboats, or perhaps other cases of industrial preservation?
You can do what you want, but rather than send $100 to the C&TS, I think it more sensible to send $20 to 5 different worthy places which need help just as much, but don't come to the well as often.
