Hi Steve,
There are drawings for the horse shoe- shapped union casting that joins the main and tail frame. The casting fits around the base of the firebox and was a Portland Company modification done in 1905 for B&SR engine 5, the last Two-Foot locomotive that the PoCo built. We have the original drawings and they have been converted into digital format. The steam crew guys have the plans on their laptop(s) and we may be able to post or email them next week after everyone gets back from Thanksgiving holiday. In the mean time, if you click on the facebook link on the first post, you will go to the WW&F fb page (no need to subscribe) and there are photos of the frame and union casting in some of the older #9 updates from a few weeks ago. Scroll back to see all the #9 posts.
