be very interesting.

It looks like nearly all of the original locomotive have been replaced
with new parts at one time or another. If I read the history correctly
the boiler and smokebox have been replaced twice, the frame and water
tank and one cylinder have been replaced once and the other
cylinder has been replaced twice. After the current rebuilding project
is finished, the engine will be running with its third frame, forth
boiler and smoke box, and third and forth cylinders. Plus every part that
wears (tires, bearings, crosshead and guides, etc.) has been replaced
several times. Even before the present rebuilding there was probably
almost nothing left of the original 1867 locomotive.
