Bob Keller and I have something in common. We are both old farts with failing memories. So when Bob posted on "the other board" something about a lack of reefers on the C&TS, I didn't think he was right....but (surprise) I couldn't remember for sure. So when I got home from Chama I checked my memory bank (aka slide file) and found photos of what I think was the very first chartered "photo" freight on the C&TS, that Bob had run in October 1972. The "Toltec Rattler". And voila....in the consist are not one, not two, but three reefer cars. I feel better now. Bob's memory is no better than mine. As future historians interview folks like Bob and me, the opportunities to rewrite history are limitless.
