Probably the same two that were trying to get me to pay for a "photo pass"!!:

Seriously though I had my camera rolling at that overlook off the Osier road and besides some sound of the engine this bluebird took flight from the tree in the picture.

As for Deer, I shot some on the way into Chama out by the airport. Must have been about 10-12 of them across the road. Even had the tripod out.
Common in the area. I nearly crashed into one in town one evening headed to the motel after dinner. My wife said"At least we know the brakes work well"!!

On one of the engineer school trains with 463, I got no less than three scenes of deer in the same scene as the train. Once was at Jukes Tree, the next was starting the 4% grade, and the last was a deer behind the train after it crossed Lobato(Deer was in the open above the train). I thought getting three shots like that was pretty cool. We saw a pair of elk outside Chama one morning also. It is hunting season now!!! Saw quite a few hunters out there. We were only hunting "Steam" with video and still cameras!!!
