IMHO, the desserts at the God-Forsaken outpost of Osier – especially Roger Wigwam's favorite, the Triple Chocolate Cake – are superior to the desserts at the non-deserted desert outpost of Ely.
The desserts at El Palacio Restauranté in the God-Forsaken desert outpost of Kingman, Arizona, are also excellent, and the nearly-deserted desert canyon west of town – which features several massive Santa Fe bridges – lacks only a steam locomotive or two to surpass Ely
