Wow! Those do look nice, and CB&Q as well. Good thing you have them. We and others on this forum have found usable old bearings/wedges to be generally unavailable, or just downright expensive.

What size might they be?

On a related note, the pedestals we adopted for 1008 (since there were no originals attached) are CB&Q pedestals obtained from pre-1900 wood-frame, standard gauge passenger car trucks. These are at least period-correct, and are close in size to the sole remaining originals on the 1006. These pedestals use 4 x 7 bearings and wedges. A fair number of these same reclaimed pedestals have had second lives on bobber cabooses; used on restored 049 and 1009 at CRRM, and on SN 1005.
