I found the picture that I was talking about of the Alamosa refinery in "The Story of the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic RR and 463" by Antoinette Gibbons. There is a low angle ariel photo of the refinery and the RR yard next to it, pretty good detail. The unloading track is on the west side of the refinery just east of the roundhouse and the east )off of) the east lead to the turntable. The track mayn still be there or it is where the road is that borders the refinery site on the west side. The photo is on page 60. A couple of pages earlier there is an overhead aerial that shows a better sense of proportion. The refinery site is about 1/2 to 2/3 the size of the railroad shop site with the roundhouse. Not very big when you get right down to it.
