Sorry about that Rehunn.
I agree with you though "sigh". I wasn't born early enough to have seen or ridden the West Side & Cherry Valley. Nor the real West Side. And I sigh every time I think about how many times it was almost saved in one form or another. And I still have never been there to see it.
The only silver lining is that we have shay 10 and 15 working on the YSMSPRR(And I have been there!
) in Fish camp, and shay 7 and heisler #3 at Roaring camp. All still working in CA.
Plus 12 is operational and #9 is working at the loop, and there is many pieces of rolling stock spread out still surviving.
