They also re-equiped the locomotive fleet by purchasing three WP&Y Alco/Bombarier diesels that were never received by the WP&Y. When the WP&Y shutdown they had 4 locomotives on order that were completed. The US Gypsum company bought two. Then wrecked one and purchased the third.
The fourth locomotive was finally purchased by the WP&Y a few years back. It had a wide cab instead of the older Alcos with standard cabs.
