Hi, Rex -

John had trouble bearing the suspense, in case Rich's reply came back bearing bad news.
"Don't shoot the messenger", or in this case, "Don't bury the bearer" is Rich's motto today,
while "The squeaky wheel bearing gets the grease" is John's.

But not to worry - Roosso has promised to compose a lullaby, something along the lines of
"Oh bearing me not ... on the right of way ... " (complete with some yodeling in the chorus,
provided by Mr. Stabler and paid for by Mr. West) - to keep Mr. Cole from feeling that he is
bearing the burden alone while he awaits Rich's response.  After all, we sure wouldn't want
to have a reprise of 'The Caine Mutiny', wherein Captain Queeg lost his marbles bearings ...
