Animas Forks: Built 1883 Pullmen sleeper, was Salida on Rio Grande. Acquired 1906. Had full menu on SN, including Russian Caviar, other delicasis. Wrecked 1908 and rebuilt with Observation room. Too long for usage and derailed often. Retired in 1911 and slowly dismantled at Silverton bone yard until finally being burned in 1923. Parts of the car were said to be used for something like a porch near Durango.
#4: Coach was 314 on D&RG, built Jackson & Sharp 1882. Purchased 1909 due to increase in passenger traffic and lack of servicable cars. On line into 40's, and used as Pioneer Diner in Durango. Was bought by a couple, in very poor condition then, nothing left today.
