...for one thing. The register book ends about January 18, 1951. Someone else got the real prize. The next book would have had the last San Juan on it, and I'm sure it is out there somewhere. Perhaps Uncle Bob got it and it's up at the CRM. BYW thanks to Mark Radar Yates for letting me copy the original register in his possession several years ago.
I can piece together a bit of 1/31/51, at least the east end as Morgan fired an extra west that day, taking 16 hours to drag themselves through the snow and cold and waiting for late passenger trains, to Chama.
