Dick...Back in '06? took two days spreading the gravel that was dumped there along the depot track only, ran out before I could shovel and rake it up to the shop crossing, futilely asked Frank Turner for more.

People get on and off the trains, want to look at, snap pics, talk to the engine crews anywhere up to the crossing. Makes sense to have gravel there, not plows and freight cars.
