Earl,
The idea that 6302 was not on its correct trucks has some basis in fact;
Early in the Railstar days at the Georgetown Loop, Railstar management was pushing hard to steal 6302's trucks for use under the standard gauge ballast hopper that was sitting by the engine house in Silver Plume.(The ballast car is set up for truck mounted brake beams, as is 6302) Railstar proposed scrapping 6302 or putting it back on another set of trucks, should any become available. Some of the more historically minded employees were able to convince the CHS that this would be an idiotic thing to do to and Railstar was told to leave 6302 alone. In 2007, after said employees were gone, Railstar did take 6302's triple valve and other brake system parts for use on the passenger car fleet.
