Nice shots... but one thing might be brought up. I've seen a couple of Perry shots taken (of what appears to be the same train) unloading the stock cars at Cimmaron with the 454 in front, showing the last livestock movement to Cimmaron, and dated May 8, 1949 (I remember the date because it was two days after I was born...). Since the line was abandoned in May of 1949, and these pictures appear to be of the same train, it appears that May 8, 1948 may be wrong... same date, but a year later.
