The O scale versions have a Lazy Susan type bearing (similar to some thrust bearings) that makes turning it very easy. I have not considered how to power it for O scale.

The HO model I have is fingerstrong (scale armstrong). For the HO models, an easy way to power them is by using an Atlas HO or N scale turntable and mount the gallows turntable on it. I have several articles showing different approaches to this.

For the O scale model, I'd be interested in seeing how others power it and would want to add a how-you-did-it mini article to include in future kits.

I'll bring some pics of the bearings Wednesday and post them.
