The tipple has quietly (very quietly) under the direction of John Sutkus been under going restoration for several years now. The foundation has been repaired and over quite a few years the tipple has been slowly, a little at a time, been straightened aka "plumbed". Currently the bucket lifts are being restored and when the work is done the tipple might be used for demonstrations but not for every day operations. The railroad has found that the bucket loader they now use is much more efficient.
