To all who knew my father or met him, and to all who posted on this topic, thank you for your kind words.

My dad first introduced us to trains with his Sn3 layout. Later our first trip to the Texas State Railroad got us hooked. But then, we took a family vacation to Colorado, rode the C&TS, the D&S, the Georgetown Loop, toured the RGS, and went all over the western US. I am now a foamer / rivet counter for life. I owe everything I am to my mother and father.

Please enjoy your Easter weekend, and if you spend it with family, hug them all.

I will remember my father for the wonderful man he was for the rest of my life, and continue all that I do hoping that it will make him proud.
