He gave me his business card that said I could help myself to anything on any car in the yard. We drove to the yard and after examining several cars chose the signs on a stock car. After working on the bolts for a while someone was asking what I was doing there and did know it was private property? He identified himself as the local sheriff. As he kept talking I was fishing in my pocket for the card and then handed it to him. He was discussed as I had taken him from his saturday beer while watching a local football game. I have the sign proudly hanging in my garage.
