The grade thru the yard is probably 1% maximum. It is steeper up near the tank, then levels a bit past the depot, then drops off again past the scale house, then flattens out at the south end. The grade beyond the north switch is probably closer to 2% all the way across the river and levels off just beyond the highway crossing.
