Just checked with the C&TS to verify my info. While the fire danger is extremely high it will not effect the railroad's train schedule. The RR goes to extreme lengths to prevent fires and works in cooperation with the forest services. It is possible that in addition to the normal fire crew behind the train on a speeder that the train will also be hauling the rotary tender they use as a right-of-way sprinkling car. The forecast is for a cooler weekend and with the rains predicded for southern Colorado the humidity will rise and the fire danger will drop. Everyone just be extremely CAREFUL.
