Saturday morning we left Antonito at 6:15 and were at Lava for first the blue light and then the sunrise. Sunday evening we were there for afternoon glint, sunset and moonrise, getting back to Antonito about 9:45 p.m. Sunday we were a bit behind schedule because we were having so much fun plowing snow that we left Big Horn behind schedule. At Antonito the Dutch Mill was very accommodating in providing an early breakfast and a late dinner for our group. I might be a bit prejudiced, but I think the schedule worked well.
While the primary purpose of the charter was the snow plowing, I don't think anyone complained about the non-snow photo ops at Lava. It is a neat place.
