I absolutely agree, Kev.
I would also point out that this color reminds me a lot of Floquil's old "Pullman Green", which was great until they stupidly changed the formula to something way off the mark.
Other colors that have been changed to something completely unusable in the Floquil line are Caboose Red and Depot Buff. Why they did this is beyond my comprehension.
Floquil's D&RGW Gold looks just right wet, but dries to a hidious orange color. They either need to get it right or call it orange.
Anyway, I've used Scalecoat Empire Green before, and it is great. Especially for passenger use as it dries to a gloss finish, and touches up well on models that "work for a living" and become dinged from use.
