IIRC, Bill -
Taking a cue from manifold railways 'across the pond' - but recognizing its own geopolitical differences -
the L&MV was reorganized as the Leek, Manifold Valley & Atlantic in 1934, but struggled on for only a
few more months before folding yet again and succumbing to the scrappers torch.
