That is great stuff Earl. Amazing how you can really help folks on names so far back. Now he has the dates, he can possibly read into the D&RGW Magazine at the Colorado Railroad Museum and check out the Mechanical or Transportation column for Chama. They are only in the mid 1920s.
I was interested in your "We sent her a pic of the house years ago. She said she lived there for a couple of summers in the 1930's" Is she still living to ask if she ever remembered the saw mill in town and how they got the logs? Did they get logs by rail? Did she ever see any logs on the railroad in the 1930s around Chama. Can anyone else chime in on that question?
