You point, shoot,and there is the image on the screen. If its not perfect you just use the machine-gun mode next time. I shot some airplane stuff in June and two so-called pro still shooters were there.
OMG, was the noise of those cameras obnoxious. I was shooting the only
B-29 operational in the world. Start-ups and such were fine, but after it taxied away the camera noise was all I heard. They did one flight that day, and I went back the next day for 2 more flights, and no still guys....what a joyous time that was!!!
I have a doorstop here, a Pentax 6x7 large format. Film was 10 shots, and with processing about $1.00 each time you hit the trigger. So you used it wisely. I think on the Rotary in 1997 I used one or two rolls,
probably half a roll near Coxo Curve where I could set the video rolling for a bit. On those cameras you had to mostly get the settings right and never saw the results for weeks sometimes!!!!
Technology is great for Steam though, eh!!!
