No ice or snow in Palestine. You have to go west and north of Corsicana to find that. Just cold. As opposed to Alamosa, East TX has this thing called "humidity", that combined with a 20mph wind straight from the North Pole cuts through everything I can put on. When I moved here, I seriously considered giving away my winter gear. Glad I didn't.

300 is on the west end of the train, RS3-C ("C" as in Caterpillar powered) #7 is on the east end. #7 pulls the train east and both work coming west. #300 has pulled the entire train back when #7 croaked last year. It was quite a show, but I wouldn't want to do that all the time.

#8 is our spare.
